I was wondering how long it would take before one of the men on the IRL driving tour would make a sexist comment about Danica Patrick.Earlier this week on a radio talk show, Ed Carpenter made the following comment about Patrick switching to NASCAR: "...especially if you catch her at the right time of the month, she might be trading plenty of paint out there."
To Patrick's credit, she laughed off the reference and called it "a good joke."
It must not have been her time of the month. If it was, she might not have responded so kindly.
